The most important context is the trajectory

Personal context is usually described as a collection of facts: preferences, documents, history, and relationships. Those matter. But a system that knows only the current state can still optimize for the wrong future.

The context I would want a personal system to understand is the trajectory. Where am I now? Where am I trying to go? Which habits, commitments, or constraints are helping? Which ones are pulling in the opposite direction?

That kind of context changes what helpful means.

A recommendation that fits the present but works against the intended direction is not personalized. It is merely familiar.
